📌අභිමානවත් හෙටක් වෙනුවෙන් OCU ශිෂ්‍යත්ව ප්‍රණාම

කොළඹ හුණුපිටිය ගංගාරාම විහාරාධිපති ආචාර්ය කිරින්දේ අස්සජි ස්වාමීන් වහන්සේගේ මග පෙන්වීම යටතේ Oxford Chester Uni of Higher Education ආයතනය විසින් පූර්ණ ශිෂ්‍යත්ව 75ක් පිරිනැමීම ඊයේ (19) දිනයේදී සිදුවුණා.

උන්වහන්සේගේ ජන්ම දිනය නිමිත්තෙන් සංවිධානය වූ මෙම වැඩසටහන පොලිස්පතිතුමාගේ සහභාගිත්වයෙන් පොලිස් මූලස්ථානයේදී පැවැත්වුණු අතර රට වෙනුවෙන් වටිනා සේවයක් ඉටු කරන පොලිස් නිලධාරීන්ගේ දරුවන්ට සහ ආර්ථික දුෂ්කරතා හමුවේ ඉගෙනුම ලබන දක්ෂ දරුවන්ට මෙම ශිෂ්‍යත්ව ලබාදීම විශේෂත්වයක්.

මෙම සුවිශේෂී වැඩසටහනට පොලිස් සේවා වනිතා ඒකකයේ සභාපතිනි නීතිඥ නිල්මිණි නීටා සමරතුංග මහත්මිය, බස්නාහිර පළාත් ආණ්ඩුකාර හනීෆ් යූසෆ් මැතිතුමා, බස්නාහිර පළාත් අධ්‍යාපන ලේකම් වර්නන් පෙරේරා මැතිතුමා, ජ්‍යෙෂ්ඨ නියෝජ්‍ය පොලිස්පති පරිපාලන සංජීව ධර්මරත්න මහතා, නියෝජ්‍ය පොලිස්පති පොලිස් මූලස්ථාන නාලක සිල්වා මහතා යන මහත්වරු ඇතුළු තවත් සම්භාවනීය අමුත්තන් රැසක් සහභාගි වුණා.

ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ අධ්‍යාපන ක්ෂේත්‍රය වෙනුවෙන් සිදු කරන මෙහෙවර පිළිබඳව Oxford Chester Uni of Higher Education ආයතනයේ සම නිර්මාතෘන් වන ආචාර්ය දුලාන් හෙට්ටිආරච්චි මහතා සහ ශාස්ත්‍රපති ගයාන් ඉද්දමල්ගොඩ මහතා ඇගයීමට ලක් කිරීමද මෙහිදී සිදුවුණා.

📌OCU Scholarships for a Proud Tomorrow

Under the guidance of the Chief Incumbent of Hunupitiya Gangaramaya Temple, Venerable Dr. Kirinde Assaji Thero, the Oxford Chester University of Higher Education awarded 75 full scholarships yesterday (19).

This programme was organized to mark the Venerable Thero’s birthday and was held at the Police Headquarters with the participation of the Inspector General of Police. The scholarships were specially awarded to children of police officers who render valuable service to the nation and talented students who continue their education despite financial hardships.

Several distinguished guests attended the event, including Attorney-at-Law Nilmini Nita Samaratunga, Chairperson of the Police Seva Vanitha Unit; Hon. Hanif Yusoof, Governor of the Western Province; Vernon Perera, Secretary of Education of the Western Province; Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police (Administration) Sanjeewa Dharmaratne; and Deputy Inspector General of Police (Police Headquarters) Nalaka Silva, along with many other distinguished invitees.

During the ceremony, Dr. Dulan Hettiarachchi and Master Gayan Iddamalgoda, Co-Founders of the Oxford Chester University of Higher Education, were also honoured in recognition of their contribution to the development of education in Sri Lanka.
